Pierre Poilievre spent his day celebrating his win of the safest conservative seat in the country, and his ability to return to the House of Commons as the official leader of the opposition party. In addition to his political win, Poileivre celebrated hitting a home run in the big T-Ball game against local champions the “Make-A-Wish Unicorns”.
The Unicorns, previously rated 16-0, marked their first loss of the season in this stunning upset. While slowly strutting the bases, the Conservative leader was heard saying “This is a big win for the Conservative Party, and therefore a big win for me!” and told third baseman Timmy Jones “There’s no free lunch when I’m in charge.”
Timmy Jones (8, stage 2 leukemia) looked tired at the end of the game, but shook Poilievre’s hand at the final line up. Timmy told BSN Reporters “He definitely deserved the win, I just wish we still got pizza after the game. But I guess it’s back to the hospital.”
