In a stunning display of political prowess, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) was forced to cancel her much-anticipated speech at a local diner after a grand total of eight people showed up, most of whom seemed more interested in the two-for-one burger deal than her remarks.
Mace, known for her fiery MAGA rhetoric, had hoped for a full house to rally support for her reelection bid, but apparently, her base prefers their rallies with fewer speeches and more fries.
“I’ve seen better turnouts at my grandmother’s bingo night,” Mace reportedly quipped to an aide, who was busy sending texts to her PR team with a facepalm emoji.
