Bannon Demands Epstein Files Released and Immediately Regrets Reading His Own Name

Former Trump strategist turned apocalypse-themed podcaster Steve Bannon is facing a meltdown among his loyal audience after reports surfaced detailing his surprisingly warm relationship with the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Bannon, who spent the spring thundering about the urgent need to “release the Epstein files,” is now reportedly reconsidering that enthusiasm after discovering he may be in them, according to a Media Matters report Wednesday.

The revelation that Bannon conducted roughly 15 hours of unreleased interviews with Epstein between 2018 and early 2019 has left his listeners confused, betrayed, and, perhaps most painful for the man himself, briefly speechless.

Sources say Bannon believed he was helping Epstein navigate “political and legal turbulence,” which may be the most delicate euphemism uttered on his podcast in years.

Fans, however, are demanding answers, with many calling the situation “deeply disappointing,” “hypocritical,” or “not nearly apocalyptic enough to justify the betrayal.”

Bannon has not yet commented, although his silence has been described as “the most honest thing he’s done in months.”
