Florida Man Claims Trump Gave Thumbs-Up for In-Flight Groping Incident

In a twist even the strangest of Florida headlines couldn’t predict, a man from Jacksonville is facing federal charges for allegedly groping a fellow passenger on a flight, claiming former President Donald Trump personally gave him the go-ahead.

The incident occurred on a packed flight from Miami to Las Vegas, where passengers reported that 47-year-old Gary “Chad” Thompson repeatedly tried to engage the woman seated next to him in unwanted physical contact. When confronted by flight attendants, Thompson reportedly declared, “Trump said it was fine!” before downing the last of his mini bourbon and attempting a clumsy salute.

FBI agents later questioned Thompson upon landing, during which he reportedly doubled down on his defense, saying, “It’s locker room stuff! Trump gets it.” Authorities noted in their report that the suspect’s phone background was, indeed, a faded Mar-a-Lago selfie.

In a statement, Thompson’s public defender emphasized his client’s commitment to “alternative facts” and promised to explore a “Stand Your Personal Space” defense.

Meanwhile, Trump’s camp quickly distanced itself from the incident, with a spokesperson declaring, “President Trump does not endorse or condone creepy behavior, though he does appreciate a firm handshake.”

As the case heads to court, one thing is clear: the Florida Man legend continues to evolve in bold, unpredictable, and often wildly inappropriate ways.
