‘Sold Us Out’: Farmers Furious Over Trump’s Argentina Beef Deal

, , , , ,

In what White House officials are calling “a bold step toward international flavor,” President Trump announced a sweeping new beef import deal with Argentina this week – a move that has left American ranchers fuming and economists quietly Googling “countries without U.S. extradition treaties.”

The agreement, which grants Argentina lucrative access to U.S. markets, was reportedly sealed over steak dinners at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago “Foreign Investment Grille.” Critics note the deal includes an unusual clause: expedited construction permits for a “private presidential residence” on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

Midwestern farmers, already struggling with drought and debt, called the move a betrayal. “He’s selling our beef and buying himself an escape route,” said one Iowa rancher.

When asked about the controversy, Trump reassured reporters: “Argentina has the best cows, the best beaches, and, frankly, the best legal climate for a future ex-president.”
