After failing to maintain a seat in his riding, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre has made the bold statement that politicians should NOT be carried to full term. “A politician, much like a baby, is only important once it’s in the house. Until then, feel free to get rid of it, and replace it with me.” Said Poilievre to elected conservatives around the country in a desperate plea to be allowed back into the hill, “Nobody should be forced to not have me!”
Several elected MPs offered to step down to give Pierre a shot, but he finally chose a riding with 85% conservative voter support in order to prevent the funniest possible thing from happening
Carney has shown support for keeping Poilievre as a Member of Parliament, stating how he “just feels sorry for the little guy”.
