In a move that stunned both tech bros and conspiracy theorists alike, former President Donald Trump threatened to deport Elon Musk during a rally Tuesday, accusing the billionaire of “extreme ingratitude” and “not being nearly obsessed enough with me.”
“I made Elon. Without me, he’d still be launching Teslas into ditches,” Trump bellowed, gesturing wildly while standing in front of a backdrop reading “Make Mars Great Again.” “Now he’s criticizing me on X – which I saved, by the way – and not even offering me a rocket to escape Biden’s America? DISRESPECT!”
Despite Musk being a naturalized U.S. citizen since 2002, Trump insisted he’d “find a way” to deport him to “whichever science moon he came from.”
Musk responded by tweeting a picture of Trump edited to look like a crying robot, captioned, “When your dad doesn’t text back.”
