Pierre Poilievre took to the news in an urgent plea to remind Canada of his existence. “I had all these ideas for government cuts too!” he said at first in English, and then again in English but with a French accent. “It’s been nearly 2 weeks since I’ve been on the front of a newspaper.”
Poilievre, who is currently attempting to win a seat in order to return to the house of commons, has held several press conferences in the last few months, looked lonely as he went from clear concise statements to day dreaming about the life and future he was once nearly guaranteed. “And when I’m back, Mark is gonna be so scared. Like, I’m going to really get things done, you know?”
When Prime Minister Carney was asked for a comment he responded “Who? Oh, yeah, what’s he up to?”
